LWV Response to Expedited Federal Lawsuit

We are officially on file in the federal case, Powers Gardner v. Henderson! Filed on Feb. 7 are 1) the motion to intervene, 2) a pleading describing the rights, interests, and defenses for which intervention is sought, and 3) an opposition to the plaintiffs' motion to expedite. 

Shortly after we filed, the plaintiffs filed their motion for a preliminary injunction.

We must now wait for the courts to determine next steps.
