Seeking Summary Disposition

We filed three documents this week in the Utah Supreme Court. They are:

  • Opposition to the Legislature's Motion to Stay (the Legislature will now have an opportunity to file a reply) Note: this filing has an in-depth response to several of the Legislature's arguments on the merits, so may be of the most interest to folks.

  • Opposition to the Utah County Clerk's motion to join the case as a party (the Utah County Clerk will now have an opportunity to file a reply)

  • Reply in Support of our Motion for Summary Disposition (arguing the appeal is procedurally improper and should be dismissed; this motion is now fully briefed)
