League in Action is Here

The 2024 Utah legislative session is jam-packed with bills that affect all Utahns. Plus, the 2024 election spans elective offices from local officials to our state representatives to national representatives and the presidency.  Voting access, educational issues, environmental protections and women’s rights are impacted by those we elect. As you know, the League follows it all and provides information intended to inform and empower Utah voters.

But we want to make accessing voting information, events, legislative updates and key League priorities easier with a new tool.

Introducing League in Action (powered by OutreachCircle).

League in Action (LIA) is a phone app that will help you stay up-to-date on important issues. Through LIA, you can also be a “virtual volunteer”, taking action in your spare time, whenever and wherever that may be.

How do you join League in Action?

Just 3 simple steps:

1)    On your phone app store, search for “League in Action”, then download. The LIA app is free for both Apple (iPhone) and Android (Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, etc.) phone users.

2)    Search/Explore for League of Women Voters Utah and follow.

3)    Sign in by creating an account – you will have 4 options, but we recommend signing in by email. Put in your information and be sure to allow push notifications in Settings to receive real-time alerts from LWV Utah.

If you are reading this on your computer, open the camera on your phone and focus it on the QR code here and follow LWV Utah on LIA. Then follow Step 3 above to create your account.

Already on OutreachCircle or LIA as a supporter of the LWVUS?

Terrific! All you have to do is Search (explore button at the bottom) the League of Women Voters Utah and click on our name to add our League to those you follow. LIA is the LWV-branded app powered by OutreachCircle. Actions you can take across OC and LIA are identical. Key differences are the exclusive use of the League logo and color scheme in the LIA app and the fact that LIA limits a supporter’s search to other national/local Leagues.

Now you will have access to the action feed. Scroll through the feed just like you do on Facebook to see updates and all of the ways you can support our efforts.

Once you set up the LIA app, if you prefer to view the feed and respond to alerts on your PC/Mac, you can access through https://outreachcircle.com. 

You will occasionally receive email alerts directing you to these actions. Once you click on the action button, you will be asked whether you completed the action, to which you give your Y/N response. You’ll also have the optional opportunity to “spread the word with Friends” via text or email to let your network know about important actions they may be interested in.
