The League of Women Voters of Cache Valley invites everyone to join their next meeting on May 21st at 7:00 pm at the Logan Library in Community Room A. The meeting will explore Utah’s latest legislative session from the perspective of its specific implications for Cache Valley. There will be plenty of time for questions so all participants can leave feeling informed and prepared to engage with their representatives on the issues that matter to our community. The speaker will be Karina Brown, Policy Analyst for Cache County.
“Right now, there seems to be a constant flow of political news, and it can be hard to sift through to find what most impacts us locally,” said Kendra Penry, the spokesperson for the Cache Valley league. “We hope this meeting with be a chance to do just that, plus inspire us all to stay engaged in a time when it feels easy to disengage. Come with questions and an open mind as we explore how decisions made this year will directly impact our valley and the year ahead. All are welcome to join!”
