Snake Valley Aquifer
Water Diversion Forum

Wednesday, September 15 at 7:00 pm

This major public meeting will be held at the Main Salt Lake Library Auditorium. The proposed Diversion of the aquifer in Snake Valley will have major impacts in Utah on property and long-lasting health effects in the Salt Lake/Wasatch Front Valleys.  The State, the US Geologic Survey, some candidates for election in November, and several experts from the U will present information. This forum promises to be an excellent and dynamic source of information.

The library's underground parking facility can be accessed by turning right (to the South) mid-block from eastbound 400 South. Parking in this facility is free for the first half-hour, then $1.50 per half-hour after that. There is elevator access up to the Library Square street level.

Any vehicle displaying a disability special group license plate or disability windshield placard may park in the parking garage at Library Square for two hours with no charge. Additional time beyond the two hours is $1.50 per half-hour.
