  1. If elected, what two things do you hope to accomplish as a member of the House of Representatives for the people of Utah ?

    Enhance education and help plan for growth

  2. How would you address the following issues? (Please answer each question in 200 words or less.)
    - Adequate funding for education, including funding for disadvantaged populations such as non-English-speakers and prison inmates


    I would work to make existing dollars go further and find additional money through taxes and fees.

    I would explore a revolving fund for capital costs, possibly involving SITLA funds.


    - Energy resource development and clean air

    We can accomplish both by exploiting the huge solar energy potential in our high desert regions.  Wind energy is also feasible in some areas.

    - Water development and conservation

    Develop a plan for our future and choose to live within our natural limits.  Avoid hugh costly water projects.  Promote sustainability. Save water for agriculture.

    - Better communication between elected officials and their constituents

    Give the people a vote on issues such as growth and expensive infrastructure projects.  Communicate my views and listen to feedback.
